As you know, NLMUSD is currently implementing school closures Saturday, March 14, 2020 through Friday, March 27, 2020. I ask that you please help ensure the health and safety of each of you and our school community.  Please remember, if you have been ill or not feeling well (with or without a fever), please stay home, rest and provide yourself with selfcare.  Now, more than ever, we need to work as a team to get distance learning materials and necessary items distributed safely and reduce the risk of spreading this virus.  Please reach out to a friend to help you obtain your packet and take this recommendation seriously for the health and safety of all of our community.

Dear Dolland Families,

As a follow up to our district’s previous communication, I want to reiterate that our student health and safety are paramount to the Dolland community. While there have been no confirmed COVID-19 diagnoses within any of our schools, we want to ensure that we are acting with prudence and diligence for the best interest of our students, teachers, and families.

After careful consideration and in light of the fluid nature of this pandemic, our district’s schools will close their school buildings and cancel classes and student-related activities from March 16 – March 27, 2020. We plan to re-open schools on March 30, 2020. This closure includes any planned school events such as fundraisers, community events as well as field trips. This closure means that school buildings will not be open to children, parents, or community members during this time. Instruction will be delivered utilizing a distance learning model which has been distributed to all students. Please review your teacher class dojo, email, or other means they have established as communication with you and your child regularly for updates.
